About Project
Site.Ua is a platform crafted by Ukrainian bloggers for Ukrainian bloggers. It operates on the belief that anyone writing passionately and knowledgeably about a subject can match a professional journalist in quality. This platform was specifically created for such dedicated individuals.
We developed the second version of the project, focusing on enhancing its ability to handle high traffic and incorporating features for blogger registration and content publication. Site.Ua stands as a flagship for Ukrainian bloggers, and we are proud to have contributed to its development.

Concept
Our main focus was on developing a blogger dashboard that enables users to publish content directly on the platform. In spirit, the project serves as a Ukrainian equivalent of Medium, dedicated to political and social issues.
Work Process
We worked in close collaboration with the editorial team at Site.Ua. The second version of the platform was developed in a basic edition over six months, with additional features rolled out sequentially over the following four months.

Design
For a platform like this, it's critically important to ensure ease of content consumption, subscribing to bloggers, and reacting to their posts from mobile devices.
Key
Functionality
Technically, the platform is complex, built on a microservices architecture that supports high-load resilience and role-based access. Key functionalities include posting, moderation, voting, and the ability to conduct contests, defining the distinctive features of the new Site.Ua version.
Community
Bloggers can publish their own posts using a user-friendly editor, with pre- or post-moderation depending on their status on the platform
Migrations
Content from the first version of the site was carefully migrated to the new one, preserving social activities, comments, and ratings
Roles
The platform features flexible role-based differentiation of bloggers, with varying levels of capabilities depending on their rating on the website
SEO audit
Extensive SEO optimization was carried out on the platform to increase the visibility of publications. We maintain control over the indexing of the site's pages
